"Quality" Inn

While in Vandenberg I stayed in a pretty bad hotel room. It wasn't crawling with insects or anything, it was just tiny and didn't have many of the features (internet connection in the room) that a lot of other places had. And the thing they called "happy hour" in their "lounge"....yeah.

Nightclub

For the first set I bring you four pictures of a night club from Thursday night, taken in low light conditions with my mobile phone camera while I was too drunk to hold the camera steady.

Tons of Travel

The past seven nights have been spent in Kennewick WA, Ogden UT, Los Angeles CA, Cocoa Beach FL, back to Los Angeles, Lompoc CA, then back to Los Angeles. I have set foot in 8 different states (9 including a layover in Denver) and have traveled around 5,000 miles by both land and air, a good chunk by land. As such, I have not updated in the last week, and I figure I owe a number of pictures.

This is Asia, who belongs to the Brady family. The Bradys have been friends of mine for quite a while (16 years?). This picture was just too cute to pass up.

This is a pic of Christy and Josh's dog (my sister and her bf), Angus. This is when he was just a puppy of a few months old, I've heard that he's grown much larger since then. I'll have to pop up and see them all sometime soon.

Seen on the 405 in LA. For those who can't see what it says, the license plate reads "JEDI DR".

Scion

A picture of the back of my Scion xB so I can show off my rear stickers. The LabVIEW and Apple stickers are still there, I have since removed the YellowDog sticker (it was coming off) and added a Red Hat Linux sticker.

Cabela's

So for his birthday my dad decided to go to the Cabela's showroom in Wheeling, WV. For those not in the know, Cabela's sells hunting paraphernalia of any type imaginable. I'm sure he had a great time, and to be honest, I'm a little jealous. =)

White Album

My friend Mark in Pittsburgh came out to visit a while back, and as a gift he brought me two albums, The Beatles White Album and Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. I finally have them both hanging on the wall, this is the White Album, I'll post Sgt. Peppers at a later date.

Genesis

I'm not sure how long this blog will stay in existence. I plan on telling nobody I know for some time, and if I can keep up with the posts then I'll slowly let people in on the secret. Why am I creating a blog? It's not to post my personal secrets, I hate when people do that. I think this blog may be for my mom. They live in Pennsylvania and I live in Los Angeles, and even though I call them almost every weekend I only get to visit once a year. And with work keeping me as busy as it is, I'm visiting even less often. So I'm posting these pictures so she can have a record that I'm doing okay.


So this is a picture of Libby and I overlooking Malibu and the Pacific Ocean from the top of the Temescal Canyon Loop shortly after we started dating. We went hiking with a group of Libby's friends, and it was a beautiful day and wonderful hike.
