So the day after Thanksgiving we went to Java Sushi. All you can eat sushi, and it was pretty good too.
A plate from Thanksgiving dinner. Christy's friend Steph make the pumpkin, it was pretty good, and really added to the atmosphere.
On Thanksgiving day we took Angus for a ride in the Scion on our way for a walk. He was a well behaved dog, and the back of the Scion is great for hauling dogs with the seats down.
Just down the road from my sister's place while we were taking Angus on a walk.
Well, this bottle was full before our party. And we only had six people there. I think I had most of it. Ugh.... and it was 100 proof too!
I'm sorry, Luke Skywalker was not a buff guy in the movies, and he wasn't supposed to be. He's a whiny farm kid who just wants to go to Hachi Station with his friends.
Libby and I went out for Korean BBQ with Ching and Emmy last weekend. I'm posting this pic so when my mom eventually comes out to visit, she can see what she'll be eating =)
Another picture from Cabela's, a coyote going after a pheasant.
Found on the corner of National and Motor.
What's so scientific about it?
I think this is some kind of food... maybe. It could be japanese happy poison.
This kid kind of creeps me out.
We went to the asian market down the street from us and I took a picture of their nice selection of Pocky. More to come in the future.
Libby didn't specifically make the cookies for the party, but we had them anyway. And there were yummy! Thanks Libby!!
Elaine was nice enough to make cupcakes for our party. Thanks Elaine!
Another picture taken at Cabela's, I can't remember what was special about this buck though.
I just had to post this picture because it's so funny. This is Libby being wild at Cabela's, looking more ferocious than the brown bear behind her.
Since I haven't really posted any pictures of our apartment, this is a picture of our living room. On the right by the window you'll notice our brand new tv stand, now we can watch our tiny tv in style =)
Idol Land had a lot of good manga, makes me wish I could read kanji. But it's no Dollywood.
A restaurant in Montery Park. I used to do some heavy noodling back in high school, but I've moved on to hard liquor.
My sister and her friends were witness to a bear tearing a hole in her garage door trying to get at some leftover dog food. Here is Josh looking through the hole.
Like it says, the #1 World Record Typical Mule Deer.
I liked this middle Proghorn Antelope, it has a very non-typical set of horns.
This is a group of mounted animals in Cabela's African safari section. You can't really tell, but the zebra has its tongue sticking out in the classic dead animal pose. I like that touch.
A picture of my Grandma Lester when we were visiting on vacation. She gave us a jar of absolutely delicious jam, it's just so yummy.
Last pet picture, I promise. This is my parents' cat Matt, looking rather wild with his mouth open like that.
Not the best picture of Sandy, but you get the idea. Yet another of my parents' cats.
A notice on the side of a parking area in Spartansburg. There is a lot of Amish living in that area.
A picture of my parents at the Gingerbread House, a restaurant between Corry and Spartansburg.
Coming back from the Kinzua bridge we passed the Kinzua dam on the Allegheny river. I saw this rainbow caused by the water spray from the dam outlet.
