Flowers in El Segundo
So a couple of years ago the city of El Segundo decided to remove the large trees down Main St becase they were tearing up the sidewalk. A lot of residents (mainly people with nothing better to do) protested, saying that the trees were beautiful and should stay. The city ignored them and downtown was ripped up for months, they completely renovated the street and it was a war zone. When all was said and done, the street looked a hundred times better, and here are some of the flowers they planted in place of the huge trees from before.

HAIR!

A couple of pictures showing the crazy things I've done to my hair. The top picture shows my close-cropped hair half-blue and half-orange in preparation for a high school robotics competition. I helped mentor one team and was a guest mentor for a second team, and promised both that I would color my hair the team colors. The bottom pic shows what happens when you bleach and dye long hair after the dye fades out.
Long time no post...
It's been quite a while since I've posted, and I figure at this point I need to add about 22 pics to catch up. I'll attempt to do that, although I'm on dialup right now so it might be tough.

San Diego Wild Animal Park
Today Libby and I went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park, and I'll be showing a few of the pictures through the week. To start off we have some animals native to the area, malard ducks and catfish. Actually, are catfish native to California? I don't really know. But we had plenty of fun feeding them. I need to get back out to Pymatuning Spillway sometime and see the carp and ducks again.
